ATEM thermoregulators are designed to keep at constant temperature during production process moulds, parts of industrial machines, calendering rolls and, generally, all the components which cannot correctly perform their own function if their temperature uncontrollably changes. The tanks with thermoregulation fluid of thermoregulators are thermally insulated. The thermoregulators are constructed in such a way to allow an easy access to the inside components for the maintenance operations. Three series of thermoregulators are available and each series includes different capacity of the thermoregulation fluid tank and different heating powers.

ATEM production range includes:

• thermoregulators of TNA series: thermoregulators which work with water charge, maximum working temperature: 90°C. An electronic control instrument automatically manages the thermoregulators working in order to heat and to maintain the thermoregulation water at the temperature set by operator. The thermoregulated water is kept in continuous circulation between the thermoregulator and the utilizing plant by means of pumps featured by suitable flow rate and suitable head. Water cooling is operated by direct exchange in thermoregulator tank (basic version) or by water/water heat exchanger located inside thermoregulator tank (for use of thermoregulator with factory closed cooling circuit). Each model of this series of thermoregulators is available both in the single version, both in the double version ("TNA/2") composed by two independent thermoregulator units fitted inside one only box for the combined thermoregulation of two zones or of two separate parts. If required, the thermoregulators of series TNA can be supplied in multizonal versions composed even by more than two thermoregulator units fitted inside one only box, for temperature control of several zones or separate parts

• thermoregulators of TN and TNS series: thermoregulators which work both with water charge, both with diathermic oil charge, maximum functioning temperature (with diathermic oil): 170°C for series TN and 250°C for special series TNS. An electronic control instrument automatically manages the thermoregulator working in order to heat and to maintain the thermoregulation fluid at the temperature set by the operator. The fluid cooling is operated by special water/oil or air/oil heat exchangers. The thermoregulated fluid is kept in continuous circulation between the thermoregulator and the utilizing plant by means of pumps featured by suitable flow rate and suitable head. If required, the thermoregulators of series TN and TNS can be supplied in multizonal versions, composed by two or more thermoregulator units fitted inside one only box, for temperature control of several zones or separate parts.
