CATTY 3: universal cutter. On the spindle of this finishing machine for thermoplastic product it's possible to fit both rotary blades both mills, so it is possible to cut both in vertical both in horizontal direction. The cutting tool of the finishing machine is operated by a three-phase electric motor. The height of the cutting tool can be adjusted by means of an electric motor. The piece to be cut must be placed onto the apposite working table of the finishing machine (eventually on a suitable template) and it must be manually rotated against the tool to execute the cut. The chips coming from the cutting are conveyed into a sack otherwise they can be transferred to collecting containers by an apposite aspirator (optional).
Finishing machines of TP Series: automatic finishing machines for 2D trimming. The piece to be trimmed on this finishing machine must be placed onto the rotary table holding a template which has the same perimetral shape to be trimmed; the automatic trimming cycle of the finishing machine can be started up simply by pushing a button. With this finishing machine it is possible to trim 2D edges with rectangular, circular and irregular shape. The spindle of the finishing machine is fitted on a movable “arm” which automatically follows the outline of the piece to be trimmed during the 360° rotation of the piece-holding table. With this finishing machine it is possible to utilize both rotary blades (to trim vertical edges), both mills (to trim horizontal edges). The rotation speeds both of the trimming tool both of the rotary table of the finishing machine can be regulated according to material, thickness and shape of piece. The finishing machine TP is available in two versions: TP 2600 for pieces having diameter up to mm 2600 and TP 3500 for pieces having diameter up to mm 3500. Sound-proofing room for this finishing machine is optionally available.
Finishing machines of TRIMMING Series: superfast automatic edges trimming. Thermoformed piece is placed onto the rotary table of the finishing machine and the 2D perimetral scraps is trimmed by one or two heads holding guillotine blades driven by hydraulic cylinders. The finishing machines of series “TRIMMING” (as they operate by shearing strokes) can execute the finishing operation within few seconds; therefore these types of finishing machines can perfectly follow even the highest production cadence of the fastest automatic thermoforming machines. With these finishing machines it is not necessary to create stockings of thermoformed products waiting to be finished and it is not necessary to interrupt or to slow down the production cycle of the thermoforming machine (these problems might instead occur when some different types of finishing machines are utilized). Thanks to this type of finishing machine, it is possible to prevent the production of powder, of shavings and of dangerous fumes. During each trimming cycle of the finishing machine a brushless motor fastly and precisely positions the trimming heads. It is available the model of this finishing machine endowed with one trimming head TRIMMING 1T, suitable for medium speed production cycles, and it is available the model of this finishing machine endowed with two trimming heads TRIMMING 2T, suitable for high speed production cycles. Both these models of finishing machines can operate both independently, both in completely automatic cycle in line with automatically loaded/unloaded thermoforming machines.
Finishing machines of PUNCHING Series: automatic hydraulic punching presses. The thermoformed piece is placed onto the movable shuttle of the finishing machines and then it is automatically transferred under the press in order to be punched by the punching mould. The finishing machines of series “PUNCHING” (as they operate by shearing strokes) can execute the finishing operation within few seconds, therefore these types of finishing machines can perfectly follow even the highest production cadence of the fastest automatic thermoforming machines. With these finishing machines it is not necessary to create stockings of thermoformed products waiting to be finished and it is not necessary to interrupt or to slow down the production cycle of the thermoforming machine (these problems might instead occur when some different types of finishing machines are utilized).
